Pair of two-armed crystal candelabras, solid crystal, signed by the renowned French glassware brand SCHNEIDER France.
Dated to the 1960s, these pieces feature an elegant organic, modernist design characteristic of the Mid-Century era. The crystal is especially heavy, dense, and offers spectacular light refraction.
DETAILS AND CONDITION:
- Authenticity: Handwritten signature "Schneider France" etched acidically under the base of each piece (see photos).
- Included accessories: The lot includes 2 original golden metal collars/nozzles, as well as removable glass reservoirs with wicks for use as liquid oil lamps.
- Faults / Condition: Please note that 2 metal nozzles are missing for the set to be complete in its original candle version (2 of the 4 original nozzles are present). The crystal is overall in very good condition, very bright, with no breaks or cracks. Normal minor micro-scratches from use on the base.
