In the central band a river of red lights up: full blossoms, some wide and bright, others reduced to tiny points that scatter toward the margins. The painting is dense, textured, built in successive layers, and the red emerges from the green with an almost tactile sharpness. Toward the bottom the color gathers into darker, more rested tones, while up top the weave lightens into turquoise reflections.
