Elegant oval pewter tureen, entirely crafted and finished by hand, characterized by a refined hammered surface that creates a distinctive textural effect and a delicate play of light on the metal.
The body, oval and slightly domed, features a wide rim profiled by double concentric rings, while the lid, also finely hammered, is adorned with a singular decorative handle shaped like a pheasant. The lid follows harmoniously the profile of the vessel and gives the whole piece a particularly sculptural appearance.
The tureen is supported by four small feet, also worked in metal, which elevate it gracefully from the resting surface.
The hand-beaten work, visible especially on the surface of the body and lid, gives the object that artisanal look typical of quality pewter production.
Inside there is still the sticker from the Modena jeweler's shop where the item was purchased. On the back, engraved the inscription "pewter 95% hand-beaten"
