Clock - Wood, Brass, Glass - 1950-1960

Magnificent antique clock, Belcanto mantel clock with GERMANY movement.

Superb clock sold with its original winding key. Stained wooden case, ornaments, top handle and baroque-style metal feet in gilded metal. The dial has a glass cover with a golden yellow background, with etched motifs, white cartouches and very legible black Roman numerals.

There are two winding holes on the dial to wind the strike as well as the time.

Beautiful overall aesthetic condition (see photos for details of the wood patina and gilding). Some signs of use.

Perfectly functional, the strike is presented here as non-functional since it does not trigger, as far as I know, for what reason.
