Our standards:
- Each bonsai is shipped with a sample packet of our favored organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we measure at half height between the root collar and the first branch (see example image). In the case of several trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All of our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed specifically by us.
- Whenever possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- Service providers are commissioned who state they normally deliver within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
