Our standards:
- Each bonsai is delivered with a sample pack of our preferred organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width we place the measuring instrument at half the height between the root collar and the first branch (see example image). If there are multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All of our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed by us.
- Where possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We hire service providers who state they normally deliver within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after receipt of payment on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
