Our Standards:
- Each bonsai is shipped with a sample pack of our favored organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine the trunk width we place the measuring tool at halfway up between the root base and the first branch (see example image). In case of multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed specifically by us.
- Where possible we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected against drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We commission service providers who state they normally deliver within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid delays caused by weekends.
