Chasing Dream is a work that explores the universe of dreams, imagination and the relentless pursuit of what we have not yet managed to achieve.

At the center of the composition, a child figure emerges wrapped in a visual language marked by the contrast between portrait and urban aesthetics. The gaze directed upward suggests a state of contemplation and desire — as if the character were pursuing something that exists beyond the present moment. The halo, the geometric elements, the graphic interventions and the overlapped textures reinforce the idea of a fragmented reality between what we are, what we imagine and what we wish to be.

But Chasing Dream reveals a second dimension when exposed to ultraviolet light.

The artwork incorporates a hidden UV layer, designed to remain partially invisible under conventional lighting and reveal itself under black light. In this second reading, messages, symbols and fluorescent interventions emerge that radically transform the atmosphere of the piece. What initially seems to be a finished composition becomes a universe parallel to, hidden inside the artwork itself.

This duality is essential to the concept of the series: there are dreams we see and dreams we can only reveal when we change the way we look.

Chasing Dream thus invites the viewer to experience the work in two distinct ways — first under normal light and then under UV light — making the transformation part of the artistic experience.

A work about chasing what does not yet exist, believing in what is not yet seen and discovering that, at times, the dream was hidden from the start.
