The first edition of this design was published in 1954. The current print is from a recent edition, using the original woodblocks.
The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 36.5 x 24.0 cm.

Okada Koichi was a contemporary of Hasui and was best known for his striking images of Mount Fuji from circa 1950, named "Twelve Views of Japan". Although the title suggests the existence of 12 prints, only 6 are known to exist. He published with Unsodo in Kyoto. These Shin-hanga designs show the sacred mountain in the different seasons. His works are amazing pieces to collect and display.
