The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique, unrepeatable work. The final piece may vary slightly in size and texture from the photos and the text.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted at three quarters by a hollowed portion. I consider this work a revenge of the Self on the wanderings of existence, but also an innate longing toward the heights. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted asempty traces of past experiences.
