Elegant vintage fireplace screen – decorative wrought ironwork
Beautiful decorative fireplace screen, crafted in black wrought iron. The screen is richly decorated with graceful, hand-like curled ornaments and graceful volutes. At the top, both uprights are crowned with a decorative ornament, while the center is accented by a circular motif.
The whole stands on a nicely shaped, curved base with curling ends and is therefore not only functional but also a particularly decorative object for the interior. The openwork design gives the fireplace screen a light and elegant appearance.
A characterful piece that displays beautifully in front of an open fireplace, wood-burning stove, or as a decorative element in a classic, country, French, or vintage interior.

Condition: good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of use and aging. There are some small paint blemishes on the black finish visible, including locally light wear/a small piece of missing paint on an ornament. See the photos for a good impression of the condition.
