On the left the dark, warm, grown. On the right the cool, open. In between three small lights – not a window, more a passage.
Sometimes you don’t need to know what a picture shows. Only what it triggers in you.

About me:
"My painting moves at the border between figurative and abstract – a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through planes.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."

Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist from Croatia. She studied at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer for visual arts.
