Faïence de Thulin - Double handled vase (2) - Amfora - Faience - drip glaze

Splendid and rare pair of Belgian Art Deco vases from the famous Faïencerie de Thulin. Executed in the characteristic flammé glaze (drip glaze) with a spectacular transition from deep brown to blazing green.

The vases have a notably slender, elongated form with high, gracefully curved handles/ears and a scalloped neck.

Period: approx. 1920 – 1935 (Art Deco).
Technique: Earthenware with multicolored drip glaze.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks.
There is a small glaze fault at the lower edge (where the glaze did not fully run during production), no later damage.
