Lewis Carroll/Arthur Rackham - Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - 1907

A very RARE and beautiful FIRST 1907 Rackham copy of "Alice's adventures in Wonderland"!!! Extremely beautiful!!! Illustrated with 13 tipped-in colour plates, each with a captioned tissue guard and 15 black-and-white line drawings by Arthur Rackham. Inside good condition overall, some light stains but pages overall clean and complete. No date of printing so the much sought after Heinemann 1907 copy. Externally original cloth with wear around edges and corners, spine sunned reattached with wear on margins and losses head and tail of spine, some stains on boards-see photos. Beautiful illustrated endpapers. Overall a fair to good copy.
