The artwork is a large sanguine (red chalk) drawing on paper, heightened with white accents, depicting a classical Bacchanal scene with dancing putti.
Based on its style and technique, it appears to date back to the 18th century, showing strong characteristics of the French Rococo or Italian Baroque school.
The drawing features a handwritten signature in the bottom right corner, which has partially faded over time and need decipher more.
On listing there are more signature images.

There is also a small, older paper label/remnant on the back (verso), along with some minor foxing consistent with its age.
