My works arise from an intuitive process in which color, form and space condense into their own visual language. The starting points are sketches, architectural structures, or individual color fields. As the painting progresses, compositions are overlaid, altered, and renegotiated until a balance between clarity and openness emerges.
Architecture plays a central role. Buildings, facades and geometric shapes become carriers of inner states, memories and atmospheres. The pictures move between figuration and abstraction and open spaces for personal associations.
