Expressive decorative sculpture of a male torso made of heavy terracotta (fired clay).
The depiction follows classic Greek-Roman sculptures and is deliberately designed as a fragment. The missing head as well as the fragmented arms and legs give the object the character of an archaeological find.
Especially beautiful is the strongly structured, patinated surface with intentionally executed aging and wear marks. This gives the sculpture an authentic, raw charisma and makes it well suited for classical as well as modern interiors, mid-century interiors, ateliers, or collections of decorative art objects.
The object is made of terracotta and not plaster and weighs about 2.3 kg for its size, which is exceptionally substantial.
