An exceptionally decorative and refined pair of porcelain bowls with lids, produced in a classic European style.
On the bottom the bowls feature the well-known blue S-monogram of Sèvres set in a diamond. The body of the bowls is hand-painted with a romantic floral motif in soft pastel tones, while the handles and feet are beautifully modeled as green branches and foliage. The centerpiece of the design is the three-dimensional lid knob in the shape of a ripe-looking peach with leaves and blossoms. This beautiful set of two is in excellent condition, with the delicate botanical details also beautifully preserved. A valuable addition for collectors and a stunning centerpiece for the table or in the display cabinet.
The height per lidded bowl is 23.5 cm, the width 30 cm and depth 22 cm.
