The Hopi are an indigenous people from the northwest of Arizona, known for their peaceful nature, their agricultural skills, and their rich art. They are one of the longest continually inhabited communities in the United States and today live in 12 villages that sit on three mesas in the Hopi Reservation.

A colorful basket made of willow and yucca with a bird design is offered. The basket was crafted around 1960. It has a diameter of 31.5 cm and is about 3 cm tall.

Die Hopi sind eine indigene Gruppe aus dem Nordwesten von Arizona, die für ihre friedfertige Natur, ihre landwirtschaftlichen Fähigkeiten und ihre reiche Kunst bekannt sind. Sie sind eine der am längsten ununterbrochen besiedelten Gemeinschaften in den Vereinigten Staaten und leben heute in 12 Dörfern, die sich auf drei Hochebenen (mesas) im Hopi-Reservat befinden. 

Angeboten wird ein farbenfroher Korb aus Weide und Yucca mit Vogeldesign. Der Korb wurde um ca. 1960  angefertigt. Er hat einen Durchmesser von 31,5 cm und ist ca. 3 cm hoch.
