SERGIO VERGINELLI - Sculpture, CROCIFISSO - 40 cm - Silvered bronze

Crucifix by Sergio Verginelli, made in silvered bronze and mounted on a wooden board.

The work features a strongly material, three-dimensional treatment of the figure of Christ.

At the bottom of the board is affixed the original 800 silver plaque, with 800 hallmark, Sergio Verginelli's signature and the edition number 671/1999.

Wooden board: approximately 40 × 29 cm
Board thickness: approximately 3 cm
Christ: approximately 32 × 23 cm

On the back of the board there is a housing for wall display.

The work is in good overall condition, with normal signs of time and use. The board shows some scratches and signs of wear, especially on the reverse, clearly visible in the photographs. The silvered surface of the sculpture shows patina and natural color variations.

No restoration or polishing has been carried out.

The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the condition of the work, the signature, the numbering and the 800 punch of the plaque.
