Sublime and rare handbag model "Griet" in Ebony Damier Ébène coated canvas and smooth chocolate brown calfskin. Initially designed under Marc Jacobs' artistic direction in a limited edition for the Fall/Winter 2007 show ( Mirage line ), the Griet model was briefly released in the classic Ebony Damier canvas in 2008 over an extremely short production period. It is today a vintage piece particularly sought-after and rare on the market.
Features and design :
Exterior: Structured trapezoidal silhouette with flexible side gussets adorned with decorative brass studs engraved with the house logo.
Closure: Central flap secured by an imposing bright-brass "S-Lock" push-lock, signature piece directly inspired by the locks of Louis Vuitton's historic travel trunks.
