19th Century French Gilt Bronze Curtain Tiebacks – Ornate Louis XVI Style
An elegant pair of antique French curtain tiebacks, featuring richly ornamented gilt metal mounts and gracefully curved retaining arms. Their refined decoration, with bows, floral motifs, beaded borders and scrolling details, is characteristic of the Louis XVI decorative tradition.

Design: Each tieback features an elaborate wall plate combined with a curved arm designed to elegantly hold curtains or drapery away from the window.

Marking: The number “2791” is stamped on one of the elements, as shown in the photographs.
