Splendid advertising manifesto dedicated to the historic Casa Mele of Naples, one of the most prestigious Italian companies in the clothing and packaging sector in the early decades of the twentieth century.
Note: this is a later edition, probably from the 1970s.
The manifesto reproduces one of the most elegant subjects created by Leopoldo Metlicovitz, one of the leading illustrators of the Italian Liberty period, famed for his advertising and artistic posters of extraordinary graphic quality.
The work depicts a refined scene inside a high-fashion atelier, with a harmonious composition, bright colors and a typically Liberty setting that made Italian advertising production of the era famous.
Casa Mele was one of the symbolic brands of Italian elegance and invested in collaboration with the most important poster artists of the time, contributing to the birth of the advertising poster as a form of art.
