Sweet silence/Słodka cisza: This painting reflects the state of mind of the heroine. She is young and beautiful. She wears a beautiful hat, an unusual detail for contemporary girls, and a lovely white collar on her bare body. She seems somewhat pulled out of time. On her shoulders sit two large macaws. They are silent and gaze at the viewer. In this moment of silence the heroine closes her eyes and takes a breath. She does not sleep; she rests for a moment from the hustle and bustle of this world. The painting bears the title Sweet Silence. A romantic heroine, silent birds, and fresh, warm colors form a cohesive composition. It is very important to live in your own world, cut yourself off from what is happening, listen to life and live it.
My name is Juliya Navarych. I am 35 years old. For five years I have lived in Poland with my husband and daughter. I was born and raised in Belarus in the small town of Pinsk. I graduated from the Pinsk School of Fine Arts (2004-2008) and studied in the Department of Graphic Design at the Pinsk State College of Fine Arts (2008-2012).
I paint with oil paints on canvas—it's my favorite medium. I like vivid colors, unusual, impressive paintings that attract the eye.
I want to show viewers how completely different people, objects, animals and colors can harmonize with each other, creating one composition. I strive to reveal and bring out the beauty of the most important things, to reveal a woman's beauty, individuality. I like to combine different patterns, textures, colors. My creative work is my imagination, what comes to me on its own. I am interested in such an ethnic style, a fusion of something folk/old, when a lot is spread over one of my canvases.
