Processione is a social realism oil on canvas by Zakharov Olexander Nikolaevich (born 1954), created in the 1970s in Ukraine, measuring 44 by 57 cm, signed and sold with its frame in good condition.
Description from the seller
Painting of Soviet social realism by Zakharov Olexander Nikolaevich (1954 - ), Procession, 44-57 cm, oil on canvas, 1970s. Signed on the back. The frame is new and is provided as a gift.
The painting will be sold with a certificate of authenticity on a photograph, which includes the export permit and the appraisal by the Chernihiv Museum, signed by the director, by an expert, stamped, with the archive reference number and the date. (see photo).
Important!!! If shipping outside the European Community, the lot will be shipped only after clearance from the competent authority. The aforementioned timeframes do not depend on the bidder. (recently it takes about 2 weeks). The procedures with the Department of Fine Arts are the seller’s responsibility. Customs duties are borne by the buyer.

Ukrainian Soviet painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Alexander Nikolaevich Zakharov was born in 1954 in Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk). In 1973 he graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Art College. From 1973 to 1979 he studied at the State Art Institute of Kiev, in the studio of Professor A.M. Lopukhov. Brother of the Ukrainian artist Lyudmila Nikolaevna Zakharova. Works in the field of easel painting and monumental painting. Master of genre painting. Excellent colorist. A keen sense of color, composition always magnificent. He has participated in numerous art exhibitions. In the mid-1990s he left Ukraine. The artist’s works are present in galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
