Collection Concept

Four Heads emerges from Corné Nuham’s exploration of form, orientation and architecture.

Four volumes emerge from a shared core and project in different directions. The series revisits an idea present in one of the artist’s earliest sculptures, connected to the lauburu, reinterpreting it through a contemporary, geometric and Brutalist language.

Iron, visible welds and direct construction turn each work into a unique structure positioned between sculpture and architecture.


EMERGENCE

Emergence explores the encounter between structure and growth. Four more organic forms emerge from a geometric, architectural base, creating a tension between containment and expansion.

The iron is worked through direct construction, leaving welds, reliefs and traces of the process visible. In this way, the material ceases to function solely as structure and acquires an almost organic presence.
