The key figure in the poster production for Antwerp Zoo after World War II is undoubtedly René Van Poppel. One of the best-known zoo posters that left Van Poppel's studio is the polar bear looking out, which stands out impressively against a blue background with the Scheldt, the cathedral and the KBC building.
