Lode Herreman (1931–2018) was a versatile Belgian artist, hailing from Bevere (Oudenaarde). His artistic style is mainly characterized by magical realism and surrealism, in which the human being, cosmic elements and a deep sense of wonder at nature are central. Herreman trained at the art academies of Oudenaarde and Ostend.

Throughout his career he excelled in numerous disciplines:

Painting and drawing: He worked extensively with oil on panel, pastel, ink and watercolor. His compositions often feature mysterious female figures, abstract forms and dreamlike landscapes.

Lode Herreman (1931–2018) was een veelzijdige Belgische kunstenaar, afkomstig uit Bevere (Oudenaarde). Zijn kunststijl wordt voornamelijk gekenmerkt door het magisch realisme en surrealisme, waarin de mens, kosmische elementen en een diepe verwondering voor de natuur centraal staan. Herreman genoot zijn opleiding aan de kunstacademies van Oudenaarde en Oostende. 
Gedurende zijn carrière blonk hij uit in talloze disciplines: 
Schilder- en tekenkunst: Hij werkte veel met olieverf op paneel, pastel, inkt en aquarel. Zijn composities bevatten vaak mysterieuze vrouwenfiguren, abstracte vormen en dromerige landschappen.
