Description from the seller
Apple of My Disguise
I am Magritte's gentleman, reupholstered—same bowler, same green apple blushing where a face should confess. Behind me, a slab plays canvas and tombstone, hiding the sea as I hide my mouth. He called it philosophy; I call it good manners. The waves keep signing their name in foam regardless. Call it homage, call it theft—every apple since Eden has been someone's alibi. I only borrowed mine for the afternoon. Even mystery needs a wardrobe.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
