"Desert" – Original Polaroid Photograph (2019)
An original Polaroid photograph from my "Desert" series, created in 2019. This composition explores the interplay of light, shadow, and geometric patterns, where the textures create a striking visual dialogue with the natural curves of the human body.
Captured on instant film with Polaroid SX-70 camera, each Polaroid is a unique, one-of-a-kind original with the distinctive character and tonal qualities that only analog photography can offer.
Hand signed by the photographer on the back of the image.

Alexander Smith is a contemporary photographer exploring the space between fashion, sensuality and fine art. His work is centred around the human figure and its relationship with the surrounding environment, using light, colour, texture and architectural form as essential elements of the composition.
Rather than treating the female body simply as a subject, Smith uses it as part of a broader visual narrative. His photographs often balance sensuality with elegance, intimacy with strength, and human form with geometric and architectural structures.
