Description:
This work continues the Horizons series' investigation through the relationship between background, form, and depth. A large blue surface envelops a central structure in pinks, violets, and blues, creating a contrast between an open space and a more concentrated form.
The watercolor stains and their different levels of transparency generate a sense of movement and transformation. The central form does not represent a concrete element, but arises from the interaction between color, matter, and the pictorial gesture.
In this second piece of the series, the horizon is presented in a less literal way, as a boundary between spaces and as a transition point between different visual states.

Brief Bio: I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a vantage point from which they can identify with it. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my aim is to create a space for reflection and questioning. At the painting level, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations, and fresh color ranges.
I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine that I am observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the realm of femininity, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective perspective.
