The Captain
A firm presence rises in front of the landscape and seems to guard everything that surrounds it. The work evokes the determination of someone who gazes at the horizon and keeps their course.

Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian landscape painting and the American West, as well as European painting from the early 20th century. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze toward light and atmosphere, elements that articulate his work.
Parallelly, he has developed an intense role in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil, and Italy. His work has been part of numerous solo and group shows, consolidating an artistic practice that unites personal creation and curatorial experience.
