AFTERNOON AND STILLNESS I represents a domestic interior paused in a moment of calm. The composition gathers different elements of the home, such as a bed, a side table, a lamp and a vase with branches, organized within a structure of large geometric planes.

The scene is dominated by a palette of dusty pinks, blues, whites and neutral tones that build a soft and serene atmosphere. The color surfaces combine with textures and small painterly marks that add depth and matter to the composition.

The bed occupies the central area and functions as one of the main balancing points of the work. In front of it, the lamp and the small table introduce vertical and horizontal lines that organize the space. The vase with branches provides an organic element that contrasts with the geometric precision of the different planes.

The light and color suggest a later moment of the day, when the daily rhythm slows down and the space takes on a more intimate atmosphere. The objects remain in place and the absence of human figures allows focus on the environment itself and the sense of stillness it conveys.

In AFTERNOON AND STILLNESS I, the everyday becomes a visual composition where objects, shapes and color build a silent domestic scene. The work invites the viewer to pause on a simple and recognizable moment, transformed here into an image of calm and contemplation.

The Domestic Scenes series explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable home elements with geometric forms, color planes and different painterly textures.

Objects and domestic corners appear simplified and reorganized within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture and other everyday elements take on a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation to become a space built through color, form and balance.

The series is especially concerned with those moments of pause that occur inside the home. Light, objects and the different surfaces create silent atmospheres in which the ordinary takes on an intimate and contemplative character.

The geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figurative details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlaid planes, curved forms and lines build spaces that seem recognizable and, at the same time, partially imagined.

DOMESTIC SCENES thus offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory and contemplation, where everyday objects transform into compositional elements and daily life becomes pictorial matter.

Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, keeping the painted surface clean and not altering its visual composition. The signature includes the title of the work and the series, the year and month of realization, dimensions, technique and the name and signature of TRACY CANO GARCÍA.
The work is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) confirming authorship and guaranteeing authenticity.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a protective tube, ensuring adequate protection during transport. This method also helps reduce packaging bulk and enable a safer and more sustainable shipment. The canvas has an additional margin of about 5 cm on each side, intended to allow subsequent mounting or re-stretching on a frame, which can be carried out by the buyer or by a specialized professional.
