Dimensions 70x60 cm, 2 cm thick, made on pure cotton canvas mounted on a quality spruce wooden frame, entirely crafted in Italy.
The work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by the artist, with central hanger, final protective varnish, ready to hang.

Massimo Riccò was born in Modena in 1961, where he currently lives and works. Towards the late 1990s, he entered the art world, drawing with pencils, charcoals, and sanguine, but soon moved to color through oil and acrylic techniques.
After an initial impressionist landscape approach, predominantly figurative in nature, over the years there has been a steady evolution toward breaking form, entrusting color with the power to give the work strength and dynamism.
There is a constant search for subject matter of various kinds and the study of different materials that can be used to render the artistic language effective.
For years he has been involved, in addition to artistic production, in teaching painting, seeking to stimulate creativity and personal interpretation, a challenge constantly posed in harmony with his vision of art.
In addition to countless exhibitions, shows, and recognitions, he can boast a high number of national-level awards.

Massimo Riccò's painting emerges as a light harmony that slowly approaches from his shades toward more substantial elements, increasingly close to us, confusing the viewer only at first glance. Thus the image, in the immediate almost abstract reading, gains figurative substance, becoming more and more defined, and giving the depicted image its entire painterly reality.
Two realities overlap without canceling each other, blending in a graphic and chromatic symbiosis. From strong foreground colors, we gradually move to a well-defined figurative reality, the soul of the image and rich in sweetness. Subtle subjects, but well defined, seemingly vague but constructive, indispensable to the balance of the canvas.
Beautiful views appear as if from an uncertain ether, but slowly building with force and confidence.
