Artistic studies began in Catanzaro, but completed in Rome. In 1982 he graduated in architecture at Sapienza University of Rome.\nIn 1980, the art center “La Bitta” hosted his first solo show. After two years spent in Verona, in 1985 he settled in Giulianova, in Abruzzo.\nIn 2001, the “Fondazione Italiana Stauròs Onlus” invited him to exhibit at the Staurós Museum of Contemporary Sacred Art in San Gabriele. The work “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit” is today a permanent piece in the museum's collection.\n The following year, in 2002, he created the painting for the poster of the “World Book and Copyright Day,” sponsored by UNESCO.\nState Lotteries commissioned him, in 2003, to realize the painting to be placed on the European Lottery ticket and in 2004 he was commissioned to paint the painting that will be placed on the Lotteria Italia ticket.\nIn 2005 the Ministry of Communications promoted in Rome a show that narrates the evolution of the Italian postal service in 100 years of history.\n In 2007 the Pescara Committee of the “Dante Alighieri Society” awarded him the prize “Dante Alighieri 2007” in the Art section.\nThe following year, in 2008, in Rome, the Boncompagni-Ludovisi Museum of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art hosted “Ulisse, scenes of a journey,” a show dedicated to him.\nIn 2015, in Rome, at the National Gallery of Modern Art (GNAM), he participated in the group show, Corporate Art, concerning the close link between industrial patronage and art.\nIn 2017, at the Teramo Sports Palace, with the sponsorship of UNESCO and MIUR, took place the exhibition “Baadaye, Pinocchio d’Africa,” a reinterpretation of the Pinocchio tale, in a modern key, tied to the drama of immigration.\nIn 2019, the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno commissioned him to create the Palio della Quintana of the historic August joust.\nAlso in 2019, he exhibited, in two solo shows, at the Palazzo del Pegaso of the Tuscany Region in Florence and later at the Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo in Pescara.\nIn 2020, he exhibited at the Palazzo dei Capitani del Popolo in Ascoli Piceno, a solo show\nCentered on the knightly theme of the Quintana, with sponsorship of the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno, Ascoli Museums and Marche Region.\nIn 2021, with sponsorship of the Marche Region and the Municipality of Recanati, he was invited to exhibit in a personal show focusing on the figure of the poet Giacomo Leopardi, at the Aula Magna of the municipal building of Recanati.\nIn 2022, he exhibited at the Magazzini del Sale of the municipality of Siena in a solo show, sponsored by the Tuscany Region.
