Gaetano Bocchetti (1888-1990) - Neve sul Vesuvio

Delightful oil painting by artist Gaetano Bocchetti (August 10, 1888 – 1990). He participated in several exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale of 1920, the Rome Quadriennale of 1921 and from 1923 the National Biennale of Naples. He exhibited in a Florentine show by Sembenelli, in 1926 at the Quadriennale of Turin, and he won the Cremona Prize in 1935-36, the Michetti Prize in 1965, and the Posillipo Prize in 1965.
The work offered at auction, created in the late sixties, depicts a snowy countryside with Mount Vesuvius in the background, very pleasant and of excellent craftsmanship and painting quality.
The dimensions are 24x30 cm.
In good overall condition.
