"Loria" is part of my Sea Series, a collection in which I explore my relationship with the Mediterranean through abstraction. In this work, the different shades of blue unfold in layers and variations that add depth and movement, while the clear sky and the band of sand create a pause and opening space. I have sought to translate to the canvas the changing energy of the sea and that sense of expansiveness that arises when contemplating it.
My intention is to bring to the canvas an experience: that constant pulse of the sea, where color, light and movement seem to transform continuously.

• "Mar – Loria" is a contemporary abstract artwork, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylics on cotton canvas.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a distinct investigation, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
Each work is unique and is made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
