“Ripa” is a unique and original abstract work from my series “Velora.” In this series I explore the memory of landscapes and the sensations that remain over time. I am not aiming to represent a specific place, but to create an open landscape inviting imagination and interpretation by those who contemplate it.

Painted entirely by hand with acrylic on canvas, “Ripa” invites you to pause and discover, in its forms and colors, a personal perception of the landscape.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and create my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different inquiry, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
