French contemporary artist, Léo Varek today develops a series of pop canvases inspired by street art codes, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental murals, notably in Europe, including a 600 m² intervention in Courchevel, France. This journey directly informs my current approach, more condensed, yet still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped all over the world. Each canvas is handmade in my workshop in France, using mixed techniques combining acrylic and spray paint. I work spontaneously to preserve a tension in the gesture, strong contrasts and a real vibrancy of colors.
