Yannick Leniger’s 160 x 80 cm mixed-media painting titled “Urban Botanicals XXL”, an original edition from the contemporary Flowering series, hand-signed on the back, created in 2026, sold with a frame, in excellent condition, produced in Germany, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Description from the seller
Urban chic meets organic beauty – a fascinating highlight from the celebrated “Flowering” series.
Dive into the contrasting world of “Urban Botanicals,” the latest large-format work (160 x 80 cm) by the artist from the popular and internationally renowned “Flowering” series.
This work builds a unique bridge between raw urbanity and delicate nature: Expressive, graffiti-like spray-paint elements and urban textures merge in the background with a vibrant, dynamic color composition. In the foreground, stylized, colorful blossoms rise in bright hues, giving the picture a nearly three-dimensional sense of depth and a nearly poetic energy.

About the series & impact:
The “Flowering” series explores the blossoming of life amid urban, rugged structures. With “Urban Botanicals,” a true statement piece has been created, which adds a distinctive, color-intensive accent in both modern lofts and spaces furnished in minimalist or elegant styles. The harmonious balance between bold color splashes and restrained, textured backgrounds magnetically draws the viewer.
From 2003, Yannick Leniger began graffiti painting and gathered experience at night with spray paints and on various substrates.
In 2010, Yannick Leniger began creating his characteristic works from the Flowering series, which have enjoyed great popularity. By combining spray paints and acrylics, Leniger developed various techniques that produce unique effects in the works. These mixed techniques are also found in Leniger’s current works. Influenced by artists such as Christiaan Lieverse and Pier Toffoletti, the current pieces depict people, developed in conjunction with textural media. In several steps, parts are masked, revised, and emphasized.
From 2019 to 2022, Yannick Leniger was a member and treasurer of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna and supported the association in a variety of creative projects with children and young people, schools, and after-school programs. Since 2023, Yannick Leniger has been the first chairman of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna.
