Original oil-on-canvas artwork titled Nebraska, 19 h 40 - 100% Handmade! by Le Yack (Alexandre Pelletier), 80 x 80 cm, signed, from France, produced in 2023 as an original, realist piece, with a certificate and shipped rolled.
Description from the seller
Original oil painting on canvas. Unique work. Canvas fully handmade. 80 x 80 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate.
End of day in a commercial area. A teenager in a hoodie waits in front of the illuminated counter of a fast-food restaurant, hands in pockets, still. The entire left side of the canvas is empty: parking lot, streetlight, low horizon line, a dark cloud hanging in a sky that turns apricot.
The contrast makes all the difference: the warm hot‑box of light on the right, the vast blue-tinged cold of the asphalt on the left, and this silhouette caught between the two. A Hopper of today, without nostalgic display—just waiting, the hollow hour and the falling light.
Fine matter and blended skies, brushstrokes reserved for the neon and the reflections on the pavement; the sidewalk perspective guides the eye to the back of the painting.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the artwork during transport. The buyer can have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer according to their display preferences.
