Le Rendez-vous d'Holden - 100% Handmade!, oil on canvas, 60 × 60 cm, signed by the artist, original edition from France, created in 2023.
Description from the seller
Original oil painting on canvas. A unique work. Canvas entirely handmade. 60 x 60 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate.
A young man in a light linen jacket and bow tie, leaning on the counter of a drugstore. Behind him, the red enamel of the soda dispenser; in front of him, a glass of lemonade that is warming, and a Panama hat resting on a plate. Outside, the ferris wheel turns, two silhouettes in swimsuits descend toward the beach. He does not move. He looks elsewhere, toward what is being decided outside the frame.
All of the painting hinges on this gap: the party is there, one meter away, behind a glass pane, and the character remains in shadow. It is the open moment dear to Le Yack — a suspended second where the story can still tilt to one side or the other.
Fine craftsmanship: flesh modeled in glazes, the whites of the jacket built up with thick impasto, the background treated with looser strokes to deepen depth.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the work during transport. The buyer can have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer according to their presentation preferences.

Inspired by classic and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary gaze to his work by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vibrant colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his pieces are reproduced in series on primed canvases, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
