PAOLO CONTIN has been developing a personal, continually evolving artistic path for more than twenty-five years. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he transfers to painting a particular sensitivity to color, form, and compositional balance.

Since 1999 he has exhibited his works, and in 2002 he held his first solo show in Padua. This was followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, with appearances in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.

The artistic path of Paolo Contin is also documented by his presence in the Mondadori Art Catalog with related valuations. Over the years his works have also been published in Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo exhibitions and major art fairs, some of which were published with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute.

He was also among the founding members of "Tostart", an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Veneto artists and active until the Pandemic period.

An eclectic and independent artist, Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, distant from belonging to a single school and tendency. His research traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, fields of color, geometric shapes, and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he investigates balance, movement, and emotion.

Experimentation extends to sculpture and wood as well, with works built through the layering of geometric elements, confirming a search that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone.
His work continues today to evolve without preset formulas: each piece arises from the desire to preserve freedom, identity, and expressive authenticity.
