Antique art earthenware coffee pot or pitcher from the workshop of the Belgian ceramic artist Sylvain Sttublet, a characteristic creation from the 1950s to 1960s. This collector's piece features a unique aesthetic combining a speckled ocher-beige background with raised decorative elements covered in a glossy brown glaze with metallic reflections. The body is adorned on both sides with high-relief medallions depicting cherub faces or masks, a protective motif emblematic of the artist's work, completed by stylized flame patterns encircling the neck and a lid knob crafted in the shape of a flower bud. The measurements of this piece include a total height of 27 cm, a maximum width of 19 cm from spout to handle, and a maximum belly diameter of approximately 12 cm. The total weight of this item is 1500 g. Underneath the base, the official Sttublet signature is incised in the clay under a glossy brown glaze. Regarding its condition, this pitcher is in excellent general shape, showing only a minor superficial chip located under the bottom rim of the base and a second minor chip under the inner rim of the lid, these handling details being visible in the photographs.
