Soup bowl - .800 silver

A small tureen for serving broth and at the same time an elegant bonbonnière for jam, sweets and more, this pleasant object was made in 800 silver in the 1960s by a renowned Italian workshop.
Derived from large French collections and crafted in pure Empire style with the classic acanthus leaf on the edge, on the rosette of the lid and on the knob, and swans as handles, this agreeable tureen/bonbonnière is accompanied, as in the images, by a removable blue velvet inner lining, useful for use with soft substances such as honey and others.
The object measures 18 cm by 14 cm, is in excellent condition, and the weight as shown in the attached photo is 351.20 g.
