Tom Roy (Toni Ramírez) is an artist born in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) in 1976. After a career in the business sector, a decisive life experience led him to devote himself fully to artistic creation, understood as a space of resistance, memory and personal reconstruction.
His work is defined by a contemporary figurative language: characters with strong physical presence, intense gestures and a brushstroke executed with energy. Through color, texture and the force of gesture, he explores the tension between human fragility and the capacity to persist. His practice dialogues with references such as Juan de la Rica, Julio Vaquero or Miquel Barceló.
His work has been positively valued by experts and professionals in the international sector.
