Authentic vintage LeCoultre Memovox watch with alarm function (Wrist Alarm) dating from the 1950s.

It is the version produced for the American market, recognizable by its signature “LeCoultre” on the dial (instead of Jaeger-LeCoultre). The case was manufactured in the United States by the prestigious Star Watch Case Company to meet the customs regulations of the time. A magnificent piece of horological history, 100% original and “as is.”

• Aesthetic: The watch shows a pronounced patina on the dial from age (oxidation marks that give it a unique vintage charm). The case shows natural oxidation marks (verdigris at the lugs) but no major distortion. The watchmaker engravings inside the caseback attest to past servicing.
Mechanical: The watch runs and the alarm function triggers. Note a drift of about one second per day, likely requiring cleaning and adjustment of the mechanism.
