Dating approximately from 1960–1970, this Lorenz Automatic Perpetua belongs to an important period in the development of the automatic wristwatch, when manufacturers increasingly combined self-winding mechanisms with practical complications and improved protection for everyday use.
The dial tells much of the story itself: Automatic Perpetua, 25 Rubis, Incabloc and Antimagnetic. These were meaningful technical attributes at the time, communicating a watch designed around reliability, mechanical sophistication and daily wear.
The 25-jewel automatic movement is complemented by Incabloc shock protection, antimagnetic construction and a practical date indication — a combination that positioned the watch as a technically accomplished automatic model for its era.
Its design is equally characteristic.
