Yellow almost entirely occupies the surface, in a dense succession of leaf imprints that overlap until they saturate the space.
In the top, the light is bright and uniform, almost metallic; as it descends, the gold warms to orange tones and lilac accents emerge, lightening the texture.
At the base, bright greens and brown earth tones appear, giving roots to the composition and slowing its rhythm.
Thin stems rise vertically and cross the golden mass like slender supporting lines.
The material is grainy and accumulated, built from close touches that render every leaf as an autonomous imprint.
From this arises the sensation of an autumnal light held at its peak.
