Elegant vintage Boston bag from Christian Dior, belonging to the era of the prestigious designer Marc Bohan, one of the most important and recognizable periods of the House.
The piece is made from the characteristic black Honeycomb Dior canvas, decorated with the emblematic geometric motif of the signature and discreet Dior motifs. The contrast with the brown leather of the handles, piping, and structural bands provides a classic and very sophisticated combination.
Among its details stand out the gold-toned hardware, the closure system with the Dior padlock and its two keys, as well as the interior metal plate Christian Dior – Made in France. The interior retains its characteristic vintage textile lining and a practical interior zip pocket.
The bag has undergone a thorough professional cleaning and a careful restoration process, respecting as much as possible the original materials. Due to the age and delicacy of the Honeycomb canvas, some small ink stains could not be completely removed, as insisting on their removal would have risked damaging the canvas. Priority was given to preserving the original fabric in the best possible condition.
The handles have been restored on their inner part and reinforced with Vacchetta leather, providing greater strength to one of the areas subjected to the most tension during use.
